Madeline Heiner has just missed out on qualifying for the final of the women’s 3000m Steeplechase by placing sixteenth overall with the top fifteen making it through. Heiner finished ahead of our other two Australian’s after leading her heat for most of the way. She crossed the line with a time of 9:30.79.
Victoria Mitchell was up next in the second heat, placing 11th with a time of 9:43.73. Lastly, Genevieve LaCaze placed seventh in the third heat with a time of 9:39.35.
@theNSWIS @madheiner misses a spot in the final in a time that would have qualified her in 4 / 5 World Champs Finals @AthsAust #greenandgold
