Australian Josh Harris sets Beer Mile World Record

Australian athlete Josh Harris has officially broken the Beer Mile World Record!

Harris crossed the line with a time of 4:56.25, taking 0.75 seconds off James Nielson’s World Record time of 4:57.00.

Earlier in the year, James Hansen, another Australian athlete, ran the exact same time as Harris has for the Beer Mile, though it isn’t clear why he wasn’t officially cleared for the record.
