Liz Clay Runs Second Olympic Qualifier in Canberra

Liz Clay has run 12.72 (+1.3) seconds in the 100m Hurdles on the second day of the 2021 Athletics ACT Under 20 & Open Championships.

This is Liz’ second qualifier for the Tokyo Olympic Games after her performance in Brisbane last week.

The time also moves Liz up to second place on the all-time rankings list in Australia for the 100m Hurdles. Michelle Jenneke was the previous holder of the place with 12.82 (1.3) seconds set back in March 2015.
