The afternoon session of day three for the 2015 World Youth Championships has kicked off with a bang for Australia, with Brandon Herrigan running a time of 13.61 seconds in the 110m hurdles semi final. His second place, personal best run secures him in the final which will be run at 11:50AM AEST.
“It’s all a bit surreal, I came here with a goal to execute, it’s pretty emotional. I’m really happy with that result, I just can’t thank Stacey Taurima enough. It’s not every day you can call yourself a world championship finalist.” Herrigan told Athletics Australia

Louis Stenmark has had an amazing championships so far, and backed it up for a third time in the men’s 400m final. After running personal bests in the heat and final, he stepped onto the track for the final wanting to continue his strong performances. He did. He finished 6th in his final, with another personal best time of 46.29 seconds. Such a great international debut for Louis!
