There is no denying the Australian Steeplechaser Genevieve LaCaze is in career best form, after she secured her tenth personal best for the season.
Competing overnight in Kuortane, Finland, LaCaze took home the Victory and ran her fastest ever time of 2:04.05 in the 800m. If that wasn’t already impressive enough, LaCaze also ran the time after running the 3000m Steeplechase on the same day.
LaCaze found herself in an interesting situation in the 3000m Steeplechase. She was the only competitor. That didn’t stop her however, she ran an impressive 9:41.06.
The 26-year-old has now recorded personal best times in the 800m, 1500m and 3000m Steeplechase in the past few months.
LaCaze has run Olympic qualifiers in both the Women’s 5000m and 3000m Steeplechase.
