Fabrice Lapierre has made it through to the final in the men’s Long Jump after a furthest jump of 8.03m (+0.2 m/s) in his opening round. After a good start to the competition, Lapierre was unable to increase his original distance with fouls in his second and third attempts. Nonetheless, he will be jumping in the final, with an 11th place start.
Another Aussie through to a final at #Beijing2015, Fabrice Lapierre qualifies for the long jump decider. 8.03m was his best in qualifying.
